Friend of Mine Recordsは、世界中のローカルミュージシャンとレコードレーベルを支援するインディペンデントレーベルです。 2005年に海外のローカルアーティストを取り扱うディストリビューターとして、インターネット販売と各レコードショップへの委託販売からスタートしました。これは、良質ながらもまだ日本国内では知られていないアーティストを発掘し、その音楽を日本に紹介することが目的でした。2007年より、Friend of Mine Recordsはレコードレーベルへと進化を遂げ、国籍やジャンルを問わず様々なアーティストやレーベルと提携して、日本におけるCDリリースとプロモーションを手がけています。

Friend of Mine Records is a Japanese independent record label that supports local/independent musicians and labels from around the world. In 2005, we started off as a Japanese distributor for the artists overseas, selling their CDs online and on consignment to the CD retailers in Japan. Our aim was (and always will be) to discover "good but unknown" bands, and help spread their music in our country. Since 2007 when Friend of Mine Records finally went into the label business, we have worked with various artists/labels of any genre or nationality on their CD releases and promotions in Japan.

Friend of Mine Recordsでは、アーティストからのデモテープを随時募集しています。（デモ音源は、CDだけでなく、mp3やsoundcloudのURLでも構いません。）お送り頂いたデモを視聴・検討の上、メールにて返信致します。すべての応募に個別にお返事することができない場合もございますので、あらかじめご了承ください。

Friend of Mine Records will always welcome you to send us your demos. (We accept CDs, mp3's, and your active soundcloud URLs.) We generally reply back to you after listening to and reviewing the stuff submitted. Please note that it may not always be possible for us to contact each and everyone of you individually.

Friend of Mine Recordsのお手伝い（ボランティア）をしてくれる人を探しています。基本、都内近郊で時々活動する感じです。性別、国籍、年齢など一切問いません。レーベル運営に興味があり、下記のいずれか一つでも当てはまる方がいらっしゃいましたら、まずはお気軽にメールをお送りください。

• 長距離ドライブが可能な方
• 外国人と接することに抵抗が無い方
• 何か自分で企画などを立てたい方
• パソコンが得意な方（DTPなどのスキルがあれば尚歓迎です）
• 自分の生活がしっかりしている方
• できるだけ時間が作れる方
• 何でも良いからとにかく何かを新しく始めたい方
